Muhammad: The Messenger of Allah - an exposition of his life for curious western readers
Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam, holds a unique position amongst leaders of all the major religions in that he lived in the limelight of history something that cannot be said about those who preceded him. From his birth to death all important events have been meticulously recorded by his contemporaries. And yet, he remains the most contested historical personality to win the battle of the heart for the last 14 centuries. To the faithful Muslims, he is the best of mankind that has ever been created by God. To the faithful Christians, Muhammad, on the other hand, is the blasphemer of Christ. Not surprisingly, therefore, that there was not a period in European or American history since the Middle Ages in which Islam was generally discussed or thought about outside a framework created by passion, prejudice and political interests; Islam has been depicted as a Christian heresy, and its founder a false prophet. These days, Islam is even equated with terrorism and Fascism, and a new denigrating code word "Islamofascism" is becoming a staple of rhetoric among some western politicians. Fear-mongering has become the means of livelihood for many 'experts', working at the service of neo-imperialists. They tell us that if Islam is not defeated, Muslims will impose Shari'ah on the dhimmis, women would be forced to wear burqa or hijab and they would be subjected to all the worst kind of nightmares that they can imagine. How true are such allegations? There is no doubt that the campaign against Islam has gotten a tremendous boost after 9/11. Who can also forget the images of the "suicide bombers" in the Occupied Palestine? Then came the bombings in Bali and Madrid, and hostage crises in Moscow and Beslan, and the London Underground bombings - enough to sideline root cause analysis in favor of dealing with symptoms. A genuine dialogue of civilizations on an equal footing is necessary to find common grounds for peaceful coexistence between all the faiths. This dialogue can start with an understanding of the life and contribution of the Prophet of Islam. This work deals with some of the contentious issues relating to Muhammad that today's readers, Muslims and inquisitive non-Muslims alike, don't find in recent biographies. The issues discussed are: 1. How did Muhammad treat Christians and Jews of his time? 2. What caused so many of his early followers willing to sacrifice their lives for defense of Islam? 3. What characteristics define him, especially as a change agent par excellence? 4. How did his contemporaries – both his followers and foes – evaluate him? 5. How did he handle crisis? How did he behave with his adversaries, esp. the pagans of Arabia? 6. What proof is there that he was a Prophet of God? 7. Did he perform miracles like other Prophets that preceded him? 8. Was he prophesied by earlier Prophets? 9. Was he successful as a leader of the community by inculcating leadership qualities amongst those who represented him? What legacy did he leave behind? 10. How did his followers treat non-Muslims under the Islamic Caliphate? 11. Is there any truth to the claim of some detractors that he preached violence and terrorism and not peace? 12. Are there golden rules of Islam that he preached? What did he teach on social and moral virtues? 13. How did historians view his contribution? The author skillfully uses both traditional and contemporary scholarship about Islam to elucidate issues that plague the relationship between Muslims and the West. A reverent look at Muhammad, the book uses a topical approach towards the subject and the chapters are arranged in a way that will draw the reader's attention to the tenets of the religion while illuminating Muhammad's exemplary character and virtues. Islam and its Prophet have been much vilified in the West mostly due to ignorance. This book will go a long way towards correcting this situation. .

Your 5 Day Forecast (1)
Your 5 Day Forecast is a tale about a rogue group of Islamic Extremists that have developed the ultimate weapon of mass murder. This new weapon, a deadly biological agent that was genetically engineered from a primitive life form, was acquired from the U.S. Space Agency by a young Arab while he attended graduate school in the United States. The story opens with a news report summarizing events following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the United States. The reader is then taken back in time and travels to Eastern Europe with two of the key actors - Tom and Colleen Berchesic where they, by chance, meet Professor Bernard, an American researcher on bioterrorism, and Hasim Bodar, an old college friend of the Professor. At this time, neither the Professor nor the Berchesics know of Hasim's secret - he is a member of the dreaded al Dil Ion terrorist organization - headed by Mohammed bin Baddul. Hasim has the responsibility of developing the deadly weapon. A fast-paced, surprise ending await the reader..

World War IV and Beyond: Islamofascism, the Third Jihad, and other threats to the USA
What are the threats to the USA in this World War IV? What is this Islamofascism and what is the Third Jihad? Why do some Muslims hate us so much? Does this come from the Qu'ran and is this also a civil war within Islam? After 9/11, we smashed the Taliban in Afghanistan but then we grabbed a tar baby in Iraq. What was the role of the neoconservatives? What about Israel and its powerful lobby in Washington, and where does oil fit in this equation? Of course, there are the WMDs and the "Axis of Evil." Iran and North Korea are on our plates. But there are other problems - terrorist attacks in Europe and the prediction that Europe will go Muslim in coming decades. Al Qaeda is searching for a new base in Africa. Top that off with overpopulation in the world, the problems of illegal immigration in the US, the leftist surge in Latin America and there are many threats to the US as we charge into the 21st Century. Lurking always on the horizon is the specter of capitalistic Communist China..

Zarqawi: Iraq's Most Wanted Terrorist Dead, Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi, War in Iraq and Counterterrorism, Al-Qaida and Islamo-Fascism
This electronic book on CD-ROM has a unique collection of documents, photographs, and resources about Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaeda terrorist leader in Iraq, and the war in Iraq and counterterrorism, plus the war on terrorism, Al-Qaida and Islamo-Fascism. There is detailed information from the Department of Defense, White House, State Department, and other government sources. There are four movie files in the WMV computer video format produced by the U.S. Department of Defense about the killing of Zarqawi. The American Forces Press Service issued the following release, "Coalition Forces Kill Top Terrorist in Iraq", on June 8, 2006 – Jordanian terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi died in an air strike north of Baghdad yesterday evening, U.S. officials have confirmed. Army Gen. George W. Casey Jr., commander of Multinational Force Iraq, announced Zarqawi's death during a press conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad today. "Ladies and Gentlemen, coalition forces killed al Qaeda terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and one of his key lieutenants, spiritual advisor Sheik Abd-Al-Rahman, yesterday, June 7, at 6:15 p.m. in an air strike against an identified, isolated safe house," Casey said. Tips and intelligence led forces to Zarqawi and some of his associates who were conducting a meeting approximately eight kilometers north of Baqubah when the air strike was launched, Casey said. "Iraqi police were first on the scene after the air strike, and elements of Multinational Division North arrived shortly thereafter. Coalition Forces were able to identify Zarqawi by fingerprint verification, facial recognition and known scars," he said. Zarqawi and al Qaeda in Iraq have conducted terrorist activities against the Iraqi people for years in attempts to undermine the Iraqi national government and coalition efforts to rebuild and stabilize Iraq, U.S. officials in Iraq said. He is known to be responsible for the deaths of thousands of Iraqis. "Zarqawi's death is a significant blow to al Qaeda and another step toward defeating terrorism in Iraq," U.S. officials said in a statement. "Although the designated leader of al Qaeda in Iraq is now dead, the terrorist organization still poses a threat as its members will continue to try to terrorize the Iraqi people and destabilize their government as it moves toward stability and prosperity," Casey said. "Iraqi forces, supported by the coalition, will continue to hunt terrorists that threaten the Iraqi people until terrorism is eradicated in Iraq." It's ironic that terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was killed Wednesday just as the Iraqi government he tried to derail scored some significant successes, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said Thursday. Rumsfeld announced the Jordanian terrorist mastermind's death during a session of a NATO ministerial meeting in Brussels Thursday. He expanded on the subject on the flight home. "This has to be a shock to the al-Qaida system, not just in Iraq but elsewhere. The benefit is enormous for the Iraqi people," Rumsfeld told reporters traveling with him. "Here's a man who has killed literally thousands of people -- innocent men, women and children. He has incited sectarian violence. He was a center of the financing network and of the operational network, and the link between the Iraqi operation and elements outside of Iraq." This blow, coupled with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s announcement Thursday that he had named people to the key Cabinet positions of defense and interior, is "a stunning shock" to the insurgency in Iraq, Rumsfeld said. Rumsfeld said that Maliki had come under criticism for the delay in naming Cabinet ministers to these crucial posts. Ministers of defense and interior are vital because these two posts oversee the military and police forces, respectively. But Rumsfeld praised the Iraqi leader for the careful way he made his decisions. He said Maliki made the right d.

World War IV: The Long Struggle Against Islamofascism
For almost half a centuryas a magazine editor and as the author of numerous bestselling books and hundreds of articlesNorman Podhoretz has helped drive the central political and intellectual debates in this country. Now, in this beautifully written and powerfully argued book, he takes on the most controversial issue of our timethe war against the global network of terrorists that attacked us on 9/11.In World War IV, Podhoretz makes the first serious effort to set 9/11 itself, the battles that have followed it in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the war of ideas that it has provoked at home into a broad historical context. Through a brilliant telling of this epic story, Podhoretz shows that the global war against Islamofascism is as vital and necessary as the two world wars and the cold war (World War III) by which it was preceded. He also lays out a compelling case in defense of the Bush Doctrine, contending that its new military strategy of preemption and its new political strategy of democratization represent the only viable way to fight and win the special kind of war into which we were suddenly plunged.Different in certain respects though the Islamofascists are from their totalitarian predecessors, this new enemy is equally dedicated to the destruction of the freedoms for which America stands and by which it lives. But it took the blatant aggression of 9/11 to make most Americans realize that war had long since been declared on us and that the time had come to fight back. Past administrations, both Republican and Democratic, had failed to respond with appropriate force to attacks by Muslim terrorists on American citizens in various countries, and even the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993 was treated as a criminal act rather than an act of war. All this changed after 9/11, when the whole country rallied around President Bushs decision to bring the war to the enemys home ground in the Middle East..
